Customizing Visual Styles
ParaView offers flexible options to adjust the visual appearance of your models, helping you create clear, presentation-ready visualizations. You can control colors, lighting, background, and representation modes to highlight key features effectively.
Display Settings
In the Properties Panel → Display section, you can modify:
- Representation: Switch between Surface, Wireframe, Points, or Surface with Edges.
- Opacity: Adjust transparency to reveal internal structures.
- Color Map: Choose different color schemes or apply a custom one from the Color Map Editor.
- Lighting: Enable or disable lighting for smoother or flatter shading.
Background and View
- Change background color via Edit → Settings → Render View → Background (use a white background for reports).
- Use View → Reset Camera to refocus on your entire model.
- Add Orientation Axes and Scalar Bar Legend for clarity in exported images.
