As I worked on increasingly complex engineering problems, I realized that isolated physics models are often insufficient for understanding real systems. This pushed me toward thinking about engineering problems as interconnected systems operating across multiple physical and spatial scales.

Multi-physics and multi-scale frameworks became central to my work on fracture, batteries, metamaterials, electromagnetics, and thermal systems. These ideas reinforced my interest in building unified computational frameworks capable of handling complex coupled phenomena efficiently.
