During my years in structural engineering, I often wondered whether there was a better way to design systems than relying entirely on engineering intuition and repeated iterations. Discovering topology optimization felt like discovering a new language where algorithms themselves could participate in the design process.

Topology optimization showed me how computation could generate high-performance structures while balancing physics, optimization, and manufacturability. It reinforced my long-term goal of achieving high-fidelity engineering solutions with reduced computational effort and faster design cycles.
